Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Phabora ("Phabora", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our platform (the "Service"). We act as a data controller for account data and as a data processor for candidate data you upload.

1. Data we collect

  • Account & business data: name, work email, organization name, role, and business details you provide.
  • Billing data: processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Candidate data (processor): CVs, applications, interview recordings, transcripts, and scores you upload or generate.
  • Usage data: log, device, and analytics data to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use data

To provide and improve the Service, run AI interviews and scoring, process payments, communicate with you, ensure security, and comply with law.

3. Sub-processors

We use trusted third parties to deliver the Service, including:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage;
  • OpenAI — AI question generation, scoring, and speech processing;
  • LiveKit — real-time video interviews;
  • Cloudflare R2 — file and recording storage;
  • Resend — transactional email;
  • Paddle — payments, billing, and tax (Merchant of Record).

4. International transfers

Some providers process data outside your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required.

5. Data retention & security

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We apply technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Decree and the GDPR where relevant), you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Candidates should contact the hiring organization (the controller) first; we will assist that organization as processor.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences, and limited analytics cookies to improve the Service.
